ot to much to report on Sunshine (Honey), she is getting a little more spring in her step as "Spring" tries to settle in. She loves being outside and roaming the backyard with her two resident sisters and the new addition of Neighbor 09-156. On Thursday of last week, we took out one of the smaller swimming pools and she does enjoy drinking out of that watering hole.
But Honey still has some rough days with her joints and hip area, as this is where most of her pain is. But she still has her happy moments when I come home from work or running an errand. Honey is really a very good dog, she enjoys evenings where she can put her head in my lap and get lots of pets and scratches. But there are areas that you just don't touch, as they must hurt. She even gets mad at me when I touch one of these spots by accident.
The perfect home for Sunshine (Honey) would be a fenced yard, no stairs or very few stairs, no young children, older young adults possible, someone who is home or not gone more than 8 hours a day, and someone with lots of patience. If you think you have the perfect home and love for Sunshine, please contact your placement coordinator.
