Sparky arrived a week earlier than we had planned, but he is here now and will need to get some training in him to become the best dog he can be. We have a full house so he needs to learn manners and will be starting right away. So here is our little Sparky full of No manners on Youtube. 

Let’s see what I can tell you about Sparky – He is said to be 4 months old, I would say closer to 5 months. He was kept outside on a tie out rope in the back yard and neglected. He appears to be a Golden Retriever and a smaller dog mix. Sparky is cream and white in color. Sparky is playful, affectionate and well socialized, but has no manners. Oh yes and he is great with dogs and thinks cats would like to play with him too.

So we don’t know a lot about this wonderful little boy except that he will be up to date on shots this week and maybe even neutered! We will be working very hard on manners and we will know soon if he is potty trained or not. So keep watching and let placement know if you are interested in meeting this young boy. I think with a little training and a lot of love he is going to make a wonderful pet!

Sparky is now Sport - what a great dog he is too - we are going to the vet tomorrow to get his shots update and get everything checked out. It will be nice to have a true weight on him too - I think he maybe weighs 16 pounds may 17 - he is so tiny.

Sport knows his name and knows sit - but he still would much rather bounce all over so a good obedience class will be needed! He is a quick learner so given the right stuff all will be great.

Here are some new pictures - as you can see he loves Mistee Bubbles crate, Mistee is usually in the crate when he goes in for his nap, but as soon as I get the camera out Mistee runs.
