Please join me in welcoming Sydney 08-170 into our RAGOM family. Sydney is a beautiful, 9 yr old, spayed lady. She came to us from a young family who had loved and cared for her for most of her life. Her best friend was a small terrier, so she is not only good with children, but also with small critters.

Her first few days in foster care were so confusing to Sydney. I let her sleep with me a few nights to ease the stress and once she got the hang of living with me, she chooses to sleep right next to the bed. The 2 resident Goldens have found a new playmate. She loves to play fetch and will drop her ball next to my feet and then sits until I toss the ball again. What energy!!! She makes the most of playing outside, but coming inside is her time to rest and relax. Walking with her is a joy, as she seems to see and smell everything, but does not get distracted..

The vet visit went fantastic yesterday. She weighed in at 59#, her perfect weight. Heart, lungs, teeth, ears are in good working order, with no signs of infection or poor health. YEAH! Our vet said that she is "a lovely girl".

She will show you how precious these seniors truly are.
