Annie (Foxi 08-007)

Profile

Meet Foxi, a very petite female Golden. Foxi (we call her Annie) came into RAGOM from a large commercial breeder. Upon arrival she was a very scared little girl, but she is slowly coming out of her shell. Children in her forever home should be age 10+ and she will require another confident dog to help her learn about living in a loving home and trusting humans. A physical fence is recommended to keep her safe.

Annie lived with her adoptive family for 12 years and was surrendered because of a divorce in the family.

She is a wonderful girl with so much love to give. She will now be living with a retired couple and a 4-year-old mini Goldendoodle. She will be living the Golden life where she will gets lots of walks, plenty of lake time, grandchildren to play with, and southern trips in the winter.

Annie is a super dog and will be a much-loved member of the family.

Meet Foxi, a very petite female Golden that is approximately 3 years old. Foxi came into foster care on January 8, 2008. Upon arrival she was a very scared little girl. However, she has made remarkable progress overcoming her fears, and is on her way to becoming a well-adjusted dog.

Although Foxi is still a work in progress and her crate remains her safe place, she is venturing out more and more. Also, she has started to wag her tail and approaches her foster parents for attention. She also has started to play with the resident dogs.

While I cannot say that she is completely house broken she has not had an accident in the house, or crate, for over a week! She does well with children, but has not been tested around cats.

Foxi has had her spay surgery, been micro chipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations. Best of all, she received a clean bill of health.

While Foxi's true personality is still emerging, I feel that she has the spirit to adjust to nearly any home environment. She is proving herself to be a very nice little dog that likes to be near the people in her life.

More to come as we get to know her better.
