Reno 08-001

Profile

Sponsored by: Tina Peplowski, in memory of Haus --a Golden in Spirit & Loved by Gina & George Heitz - Brier Goldens

Let me introduce myself to all of the doting RAGOM fans. My name is Reno and I have the esteemed privilege (some might say luck) to be the first dog for 2008 (hence the number 08-001). Here is a little bit of information about myself:

  • A beautiful deep red coat. Maybe you can tell from my first pictures I just had a bath.
  • I am on the smaller size probably around 60 pounds.
  • Just a little bit shy but everything is so new to me.
  • I like to gather toys.
  • My welcoming committee and I get along GReat (even when I was outnumbered 4 to 1)

We will update you on more details once I get in to see my RAGOM vet. Check back soon on this gorgeous red girl:)

Thank you to the transport folks, the ACH vets, and all of the other RAGOM volunteers for helping me get to my comfy warm foster home!

Our Reno girl has now begun the next chapter of her life. She was adopted by the S. family of Afton on Friday May 16. Reno has 2 fabulous parents to love her dearly as well as a rescue furr brother, Sergio, and a rescue feline sister. Reno has already begun to live the Golden life she so deserves. She can now be the dog that she was always meant to be by playing with her new brother and parents on their five acres of land or by exploring the many more acres of trails in Afton State Park. Plus she will enjoy numerous boating and swimming outings when we do get the warmer weather on the beautiful St. Croix River.

Thanks to Reno's generous sponsor, Tina P., and all of you devoted RAGOM readers this sweet girl's dream has come true : ) Foster Dad enjoyed having the opportunity to make this a reality and will always cherish his Reno girl. Best wishes to you Reno and your new parents on a GReat life.
