Let me take the time to introduce Red 07-674. Red came to visit my house just a few days ago. He gets along with all of the resident dogs and cats. He absolutely loves kids, but due to his size I recommend older children. Red has pretty much been an outside dog his whole life. He is approximately 3 years old. He is neutered and UTD on his shots. He is a Golden mix and weighs about 100 lbs. He looks like a Golden with shorter hair.

He knows how to retrieve quite well. He had so much fun fetching a tennis ball today. This only lasted about 10 minutes due to how cold it was outside. It was me that got cold, not the dogs! Red has a thick and beautiful red coat. He has the wave of a golden, but I would consider his coat a short to medium length.

Next week Red will be going to the groomer to spiff him right up. I will definitely update you on how that goes.

He has already learned to sit and is starting to understand the word off. He has had one accident but it was on the 2nd day and I have a feeling it was the change of food and traveling from Iowa. Oh, I am originally from Iowa too!
