Hi, Rusty here. I am a handsome two year old intact male, purebred Golden. I am very mature and calm for my age. I would describe myself as fit and athletic, weighing a trim 65 pounds. I have lived with several other dogs and currently living with a female cocker spaniel I do very well with. I am originally from a rural farm where I did some breeding work. I have since retired from that career and am adjusting to city life. I enjoy long walks on a leash and playing fetch outside. My favorite things are my squeaky stuffed bone (I sleep with it), treats, my ball and scratches on the head. My hobbies include chasing balls, finding any stuffed animal I can carry around in my mouth, learning new tricks and taking naps.

I am looking for some one who likes to do the things I do. I am very affectionate and love to cuddle, but I am not needy and I know when to just sit back and relax. I am looking for some one who will help me grow with patience and learn new things (like house training). I look forward to meeting the person I am going to spend the rest of my life with.

HI Rusty here again,

I am really loving this living-with-humans things. I have been having a great time! I get along really well with my foster sister Nikki (cocker spaniel). You can see we share food and water well. I also got to meet another golden, Bella. I had a difficult time controlling myself around her, she is so beautiful. I got to spend a day playing with my foster cousin Rascal, a cairn terrier. He is quite a bit smaller than I am so I had be gentle but still had a lot of fun. I have played with kids and grown ups and toys. My foster mom says I am very well behaved and a typical attention loving golden.
