Harry is going to a new foster home tomorrow :( We found out we are moving (across the country) and made the agonizing decision that it would be better to have Harry stay here and find a forever home that doesn't have as much going on as we do right now. We love Har Bear a ton! He's the greatest dog! He's a lover, a cuddler, a player, a talker, and such a good boy. He's perfect in the house. Doesn't ever get into anything he shouldn't, never chews things, never has accidents. He has free run and does really well with it! So in honor of our time with Harry I thought I'd tell you my three most favorite things about Harry (if I can keep it to three!) We tell Harry to "get his motor running" because he has to growl when he plays! It's like he can't play with out growling. It's funny! But the second the playing stops his "motor" stops. A lot of the time he sound like Chewbaca. Very cute. One of Harry's favorite things, along with mine, is snuggling. He loves to snuggle and always finds a way to have his big head resting on you. He'll inch closer just so he can rest his head on your shoulder, face, arm, leg, stomach, head, etc. For whatever reason he loves to put his fuzzy head on you - and I can't say we mind at all. It's really very cute. He does it to resident dog Tucker too! He'll lay down very close to Tucker and rest his head on Tucker's back. The freckles on that big fuzzy head! Those little brown freckles on the white part of his nose... they are like a sign screaming "kiss me here!" And that big fuzzy head is enough to make you melt. I noticed that "big fuzzy head" seems to be a theme in this update! It's simply adorable and his pictures don't do it justice at all! Here are a few more pictures of Harry. We love you very much Harry! And will definitely miss you!

Hey everyone! I wanted to show you some pictures from my weekend - we went to my foster grandparents' house. Boy was it fun!! New smells, new flowers, and a pool - I've never seen a pool before and guess what I did? I walked right over the winter cover like it was no big deal. It's a good thing foster grandparents have the kid and dog safe cover. It was kinda like a trampoline where you get wet feet. It wasn't much fun and I could tell foster grandma was not impressed at all.. oops! But it only took a stern "no" for me to know I shouldn't try that trick again!
The backyard was great fun for Tucker and me. But there was this little tiny dog that I wasn't very sure about. I growled at him lots. I'm not sure if it's because I don't like small dogs or just becuase I was over stimulated. But until we know, I think it's best that I go to a home with dogs my size, or no dogs at all would be ok too.
Foster grandparents said I'm way cuter than my pictures. *blush* What can I say? I'm a charmer!
Anyway, on to the pictures. Here is me waiting so patiently for foster mom to throw the ball. Then you can see me running so fast that my ears are flopping! And finally, there is me and Tucker playing the great debate - who's gonna catch the ball first?! I think that time I might have let him win :)

More cute Harry!

Harry could have had a thousand other names to sum up his personality and what he likes. For example it could have been Bear because he's got a really cute, huge head. Or maybe Fetch because he LOVES tennis balls and will drop one at your feet to initiate a game of fetch. Then once he drops it you can ask him to sit, and he will slam his butt on the ground. Or shake, and he windmills his paw around and into your hand. Could have called him Chewy also - he loves to relax and chew a bone. Harry must have been some one's pet as he knows a bunch of commands, is really comfortable in a house, hasn't had any accidents, and aside from a couple ear infections, is in really good heath. He's super friendly and hold his tail high and proud. He definitely likes to be where the people are, but he's not needy at all. He's very playful and will growl in a friendly/playful way to initiate play. He is a little protective of tennis balls if resident dog Tucker tries to take it, but we're working on that. He's totally fine with us taking a ball, bone or toy from him. Basically he's a super happy, easy going guy! After getting to know Harry a bit he'd do well in pretty much any family. With or without another dog would be fine. He does fine on a tie out here, so a fence wouldn't be necessary. Plus he's really smart and could totally be trained to stay in the yard. He was at Chuck and Don's on Saturday and met a bunch of kids and did really well with them. So if you're looking for a happy, fun, playful pup to add to your house Harry could be your guy! Email placement
ragom [dot] org if you'd like to meet this cute dude. Here are some more pictures of Harry - yes those are cute brown freckles on his nose! He seems that he could be a Golden mixed with Springer Spaniel..??
