As of 10:30 this morning, we had Peanut Butter (Skippy) brought to our home. She looked the back yard over and then met Piper. Piper wanted to play, but Skippy had had a busy forenoon and wasn't in the mood for all that.  She, in so many words, said "No way!". Then we let the girls in the house and after a room-to-room inspection, Skippy just wanted to be near one or both of us. She enjoyed my treats. She would sit with Piper and wait for me to give each one a piece. The last time she even offered to shake my hand. Millie and I went to a restaurant for dinner, asked Skippy to kennel up, and in she went. Tonight she gets to sleep near us....no kennel! She will make somebody a fine companion before too long.

Peanut checking in to do my last update, yes you heard it right, my LAST update!  Indeed Sunday was a special day for me because I met my forever mom and dad!  I am so happy to have a forever family!  I will have a dad that is home all day with me and a mom to play with me at night!  I hear that my grandpa will meet me soon and is always is good for hours and hours of pets  :  )  I already have met one of the neighbor dogs and there are plenty more to meet!  There is a park and a lake close and many geese to chase around!  Thank you RAGOM for finding me my perfect family!

Hurry, hurry, I have toys waiting for me!!!


She is as sweet as she looks  :  )
What can I say about sweet, little Peanut! Well, she is such a great pupper. She is playful, yet listens and settles down nicely. She is a cuddler and will bury her head in for you to scratch and give her lovin'. She knows how to sit, shake, down (head first!) and really understands her "people". She is just the sweetest girl. Yes, she looks like a lab right now, but hey, retriever is in their name too and besides, her hair will grow back! Peanut needs someone who will work with her to stay in her own yard. After all, she was a stray and got away from her owner. Seriously, that is the only thing this little girl needs to work on.

So, what does Peanut need in a forever family... she needs someone who will give her exercise, play ball with her, give her lots of attention and be her forever friend. Is that you? If you are an approved app and think you are the family for her, let your placement advisor know. She won't be around long!

Oh, and Peanut is even willing to meet you if you don't drive a truck! If you have been following her story, you will understand that comment!!!
