Hank has lots of personality and loves being with his people. He is such a big hunk of silly dog--he captures one’s heart very quickly. Unfortunately, Hank has occasional problems with the other dogs when they don't give up the ball and male dogs coming into his yard. Hank is going to be evaluated to see how much of an issue this really is. He has come to an understanding with the two female resident dogs but still isn't allowed to play fetch/ball at the same time.
Hank is doing much better with being crated. He has not barked at all the last few days when left for the workday. Hank loves belly rubs, ear rubs, and hugs. He is eager to please and takes direction very well. He thumps his butt down when told to sit and actually stays for quite a while. He is very good at coming when called. Anytime I say "no" he stops right away in most all situations. Hank has been eager to bark at the neighbor dog, but now stops when I say "no barking" and does not need to be told again.
Once Hank has completed his evaluation with the dog expert, he will be back to looking for his forever home. He hopes to find a loving home with a fenced in yard. Another female dog would be okay, but he would love being an only pupper and get lots of loving.
