He is a beautiful reddish copper colored purebreed golden who weighs 86 lbs.  He came to us from a farm. He is one year old and full of energy.  We have had him for two days now. He is learning alot.  He is becoming potty trained but wouldn't trust him yet fully so we keep him with us a lot and take him out often. He has not soiled in his crate at night. He knows how to sit and lay down. He likes everyone it seems and loves attention and to be touched.  He tries to play with our 50 lb golden crossbreed who is a female and four years old.  They wrestle and chase.  He will be getting neutered this week and is now up to date on shots. He is heartworm negative but has tested positive for Lymes disease and is on an antibiotic for 30 days. He is learning to walk on a leash which is foreign to him. He is also learning about the crate which is also new to him. I guess on the farm he was outside all day and slept in a garage so he is learning to be an inside dog and seems to like it but he is still adjusting. He rides in the car very nicely. He also had his first bath and did ok. He seems to like to be brushed. We will keep you posted on this big guy.
