Well it's another beautiful Minnesota summer evening and Oliver is sitting here wondering when he is going to find his forever family - not that he doesn't like us - but he is hoping to snuggle into his permenate doggy bed. He is doing wonderfully, he is still potty training and really doing a good job (not perfect). He is an absolute love bug and loves falling asleep for naps in his humans arms:) His tail never stops wagging when he is around people. Ollie really needs someone he can follow around the house even if it's just to plop down and fall asleep when they sit down. I think he will need to sleep in the same room too. As far as needs other then I have mentioned above- I think he can fit into any type of family. Is is gentle with kids, loves other dogs and I even caught him kissing our guinea pigs:) He can be a bed buddy or he can be crated. Puppies are great at adapting to your schedule and are happy to do so:) One thing that is going on with Oliver is a possible ringworm infection. He was tested a couple weeks ago and so far so it is negative but the final outcome will be Thursday (I think). Two of his littermates tested positive and his sister who he was living with us tested negative. The vet says to just put athlete foot cream on for 30 days as a precaution and/or treatment. There is an incubation period of 4-10 days and we have had him and/or his sister for 15 days. If you are interested in Ollie and don't mind putting cream on him for 4 weeks then please email placement
ragom [dot] org or you could come meet him and fall in love and wait to bring him home - but you won't want to:) He is a charmer!
