Hi, everyone!

I have just returned home with my new foster dog. Her name is Copper. She is the most wonderful, loving Golden that I have ever met. She is 9 years old and is in excellent health.  She is a tall girl and only weighs 69 lbs.

She was surrendered to RAGOM because her mom and dad are getting divorced and mom is moving and can no longer have her.  Her mom was in tears when I was doing the intake because she has had Copper since she was a pup. She told me that Copper has been through obedience training and I did put her through her paces and she sits, heels, comes etc. She loves children because she grew up with the family. She loves cats and other dogs because that was her home nvironment.  She is housebroken and can have the run of your home. She swims and loves to drive in the car.  This dog is your dream dog.  She is so well behaved and has no "issues".

Copper is pictured here with my husband Kenton and our newly adopted "puppy mill" dog Clancy.  To get a perspective on Copper's size, Clancy only weighs 39 lbs and is the smallest Golden we have ever known. So she makes Copper look big.

If you are looking for a wonderful pal then Copper is your gal.  She loves hugs & kisses and is just too good to be true. A gentle girl that would fit into your family perfectly.

Please give this super girl a forever home.

Hello, it's me, Copper!  Just want to let everyone know that I am doing very well.  I'm still taking antibiotics for my ears which are getting better every day.  I also have the cyst on my back that the Doctor wants to remove because it keeps getting infected. Other than that, I am just in tip-top shape.

Boy, am I having fun.  Last weekend I went up to dad & mom's cabin on Lake Vermilion.  I showed them what a great swimmer I am.  They never thought that I'd swim so far out to retrieve anything & everything.  I even went to retrieve mom when she jumped into the water.  Well, I thought she was drowning.  I just love to swim so much that it is hard for me to stay out of the water.  I like to play in the water even when I'm not retrieving.  I finally got out & dried off.

Here are some pictures of me & Bijou, the white cat.  We are very good friends.  She likes to talk to me and I think I'm finally learning to speak cat.

Clancy & I are really good friends.  She follows me around all the time.  I am teaching her how to be a socialized dog.  I feel bad for her because she grew up in a puppy mill.  I was lucky to grow up with a really great family and now I'll enjoy my time with Clancy & Bijou until another great family wants me for their very own.

I'm a lovable, happy, energetic, well behaved dog.  Please come to visit if you'd like to meet me.

Bye Bye!

Hello, Everyone. It's ME!! Copper! Wow, I have been in my new foster home since Thursday night, July 12. I am really getting so much attention. I love it! My fosters thought I may be nervous visiting different places, but not me. I am perfectly happy where ever I go.

Look at me getting my check up at VCA Animal Care Hospital on Saturday. That's Dr. G, who told my fosters that my ears were infected and that I had a small infected cyst. All of which will be cleared up in no time with a little antibiotics. She also said that I am the perfect weight which is 68.4. I'm lean and mean... well, not mean at all. I was so happy at the vet's that they all couldn't believe it. I also have a very strong heart and great lungs and I am very playful. More than your average 9-year-old Golden, Dr. G said.

Annette the vet tech gave me some treats washed out my ears, clipped my claws and gave me all of my shots. She also microchipped me, and now I am officially a RAGOM DOG!!! HOORAY!!!

Well, I am back at my home 20 in Minnetonka with my foster mom Hermene and my foster pop Kenton. Also, my foster sister Clancy (the red dog) and my other sister Bijou (the white cat). I really like that cat! She licked my face, and that sandpaper tongue feels neat! I'll have mom take some pictures of me and Bijou next week so you can see how much fun we are having.

Oh, one more thing... mom said that I would make a GREAT therapy dog because I just love people so much. I am just a big snuggle bug, she says. So, if anyone out there wants to take me to therapy dog certification classes, I would make you very proud of me.

Bye for now. Kisses, kisses from me... Copper
