Mickey 07-364

Profile

Mickey arrived at our house at about 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 2. He has done very well, as we have three Shelties he has to deal with. He has had a bath and did extremely well with that.

He is eating well, playing well, and is friendly to adults and children. He goes in his kennel like a charm and sleeps all night. He is a typical Golden, as he loves to have something in his mouth--every toy in the toy box is all over the house. He also likes to help carry his leash. Right now I prefer to carry it. Maybe he will also learn how to be a good herder, since he is living with three herders.

Mickey is a very happy dog and loves to jump on people, so we have worked on that behavior. It is much better now. He has learned to sit instead of jump. Oh, I almost forgot to mention we have a bird (Chico) that is so happy we have a Golden back in the house. Our Golden (Amber) and Chico grew up together and would play together.

Good Afternoon,

I would love to share pictures of Scout after his two hip surgeries in late 2007. He is now a happy, energetic dog who loves to run and play, and even jump the garden 2 foot fence.

He is also a mascot for our local baseball team. At the beginning of each game we throw a ball out onto the field as the players run out onto the field, so the dogs run out with the players. This is the 7th year my business, Me and My Master Canine Connection, has had a dog present at each game.

Scout is a beautiful dog, full of love and energy. He loves people and everything he does - walks, going to daycare and playing ball for the Moondogs. He is quite the guy!
