5/19/07: Welcome "Barney" to the RAGOM Family!  Barney is a very handsome, tall 4 year old boy that was surrendered to RAGOM due to a job change/move.  It's clear that Barney was much loved and well taken care of.  He has good manners, listens well, is house-trained, is a total love sponge, and I'm almost certain can hardly wait to be an "only" dog again.  I don't think he knows what to make of my pack - way too many tails :)  We did find out that Barney can be kind of a drama queen - er, I mean king!  Oh boy, he might even beat out my daughter for that award!  The first night he was here, something happened at 3 a.m. (couldn't tell you what it was or who the suspect(s) was/were) and Barney was crying and yelping as if he was being attacked (actually, the noise was worse than that).  I flew out of bed and switched on the light.  Best I could see, Barney was the only one stirring.  He was talking and talking to me, wanting to give me every last detail of his ordeal - all the way down the stairs to take a potty break, he talked and talked and talked.  I convinced him to go outside and go potty with the others and, when they all came back in, we headed back to bed and I didn't hear a peep until the alarm went off. Still not sure about that one.  I've heard the yelping a couple of times since.  I now believe he just doesn't know what to make of our pack and rather than get stressed and aggravated when they ruff-house and run into him, etc., he whines and then wants to to tell me his version of story.  What a doll - he's awesome to talk to!
