Sadie is a star at the 1st grader soccer games! She had the whole team petting and even laying on her. She took it very well and even seemed to enjoy it :) She is soooooo good with all the kids we come into contact with. She seems to be unshakeable. Her walking has improved greatly. I can walk her with one finger now with the Gentle Leader. Even when I just have her belt collar on it is very manageable. She gets sooo excited to see new friends (dog and human), and that is when her pulling is the worst. She really wants to go say hi and once I let her she is fine and we move on. I can't tell you enough of how proud I am of this girl. She is so smart and eager to please. She has learned all kinds of new doggy manners with us. She sits and waits to put her leash on, sits before going through a door, sits calmly before going into a dog park and waits for her meals in a sit. Cesar Milan has nothing on this doggy girl. I now call her "Sadie the Lady" because she has such good manners. I think she could pick up on anything you wanted to teach her. She would be good at agility - boy is she fast :) Any of the dog sports, obedience, you name it, I think she would work at it until she could please. Another big plus that I noticed happened today. Sadie went outside (accidentally) with my 4 year old (who wasn't supposed to be out there). I was a bit panicked but when I went outside to start looking for her, she was right there in the garage and hadn't ventured out to the unfenced yard. She came right when I called her, I don't think she had any plans to go anywhere without us. She has blended into our family and routine without a problem. I really believe that if you are looking for a new member of your family and don't call on Sadie, it would be a big mistake. She really is that good :)
