Shanna’s puppies are doing well - there are 6 girls and 4 boys.  We lost the 5th boy during delivery.  These pups do not have names yet, but very soon they will.  The puppies weighed in at .75 to 1 pound.

Toes 07-277 is also pictured here with Shanna and her puppies because she is one of them now and she weighs 1.6 pounds.

These puppies will be ready to go home around June 24th – if you are interested in meeting them please email placementatragom [dot] org.  I will start individual updates at the end of May, but if you would like to talk about them, we can do that!

Oh my little tiny Bree – when we went to the vet on Thursday we knew you were the smallest but never dreamed by two pounds!  Bree weighed in at 6.94 pounds – way smaller than the others.  We also learned that Bree has a level 1 or less heart murmur.  Her new mom and dad did not let that scare them away, so now she is home with her family loving every minute of her golden life.  Thank you for loving Bree even with her defect!

All the puppies went home today because they got Coccidia last week and really the only way to get rid of this nasty worm is to keep the area very clean and make sure the puppies do not lick each other, step on the poop and other things that are really hard to control with 9 very active puppies.  So the vet suggested we let the puppies go home since they are all HUGE and doing very well.

So we gave our instructions to all the new parents and told them to love our puppies.   I miss them already

Bree is still the smallest of the puppies and boy does she like to cuddle and be loved.  I try to make sure we have Bree time at least 4 or 5 times a day because she tends to get picked on by all her brothers and sisters.

As soon as I go into the play area, she is at my feet asking, no begging to get held and so of course I pick her up and hold her the whole time.  She is such a love!  Yesterday I heard the puppies picking on her so I brought her to bed with us and she slept like a little princess and did not move until I got up to let the puppies out.  She was such a good girl!

Bree continues to amaze us and we continue to soak her love in!

Bree – Turns 4 weeks tomorrow!  Can you believe it?  I can’t, these guys are great puppies and now they are working on potty training.  We built them a little puppy ramp so they can get out the door and on to the deck.  It is so fun!!!

If the puppies can eat outside they have their meals in the great outdoors and than like clock work, everyone potties!  Yep it’s true; we stay outside until every one finish their business, than we bring them in so we can hose down the area.  Once that is done if they are still playing we will bring them back out to play for a while.  This is morning two, of a clean pen when we got up in the morning!  I just love that!  Lots of little pee spots but that is so easy to clean up while they are eating, no piles to clean is awesome!  These guys are the best pups around.

Okay enough of the bragging – we have so much to cover with these little guys.  Bree went to the vet and weighed in at 3.63 pounds and still the smallest!  Dr. L. thought she was doing great!  She got another dose of de-wormer and won’t be seen now until she is 7 weeks to get micro chipped and given her first set of shots.

Bree would like to give a great big thank you to her sponsor Raedeen McGowan.  Thank you so much for caring about RAGOM and their dogs.  We could not do this without you and your support!

Bree has found her forever home and will be joining Mark, Brenda and family in a few short weeks – well 4 weeks to be exact.  Bree is doing well and eating lots of mush and seems to enjoy it, at least, Bree is the one that is the dirtiest when done eating!  Bree is still one of the smallest pups but she seems to be strong and feels sturdy.  Bree is also the curliest of the pups.  Bree will be going into a very fun and active family with 4 kids!  WOW – can you say she will never be bored?

Bree’s new name will not change but now we have two Bree’s so she is Bree number 1!  Bree will continue on the good food and continue to grow.  Bree and all the pups will be heading to the vet on Friday to get check out again and make sure we do not have any more nasty worms.

Bree would like to thank everyone for thinking about her and wanting to adopt her, but she thinks she found the best family around!  Thank you!!!

Bree is doing great and is growing by leaps and bounds.  We went to the vet yesterday and she now weighs 1.26 pounds which is the tiniest of the puppies.  She received her first dose of de-wormer and the vet said her heart and lungs sound great and there are no signs of a heart murmur.  Yea for Bree!

Bree is doing wonderful with bottle feeding and she also loves to try and get milk from mom.  When it happens we are very happy, but when the puppies are crying and trying to get milk we know we have to help.

Bree will go back to the vet in a few weeks to get another dose of de-wormer and than she won’t go back until she is 7 weeks for shots and micro chipping.

Breanna (girl pup), better known as Bree was the sixth to be born of 11 pups.  She made her way into this world at the emergency clinic in Apple Valley.  Bree was born on 4/28 at 10:20 in the evening.  She will always have a Pink collar on when we take pictures.  Bree is the first puppy to be born at the Emergency Clinic.

Bree was born at .7 pounds as one of the smallest pups and is by far the smallest of all the pups.  She just barely hit a pound yesterday at 1.05 pounds.  Bree loves formula she that is a good thing and we make sure she gets a lot of it when we feed the pups.

Thanks for checking on Bree – she will be ready at the end of June for adoption.

Shanna pups are doing great – I just have one picture of where they all go when we have to bring Shanna out – as you can see this won’t last much longer – they are already our growing one basket!  Everyone weighs over 1 pound now which is great news.  Now we just have to keep things going in the right direction.
