Shanna’s puppies are doing well - there are 6 girls and 4 boys.  We lost the 5th boy during delivery.  These pups do not have names yet, but very soon they will.  The puppies weighed in at .75 to 1 pound.

Toes 07-277 is also pictured here with Shanna and her puppies because she is one of them now and she weighs 1.6 pounds.

These puppies will be ready to go home around June 24th – if you are interested in meeting them please email placementatragom [dot] org.  I will start individual updates at the end of May, but if you would like to talk about them, we can do that!

Ginger continues to move at her own pace.  She is in no hurry to do anything and would rather hang out and see what everyone is doing before she decides who she should play with.

When we play outside Ginger is one of the first to come running after you and play puppy tag.  She thinks that game is a lot of fun.  She will not go down the hill – she will lay as flat as she can and cry until you come back up.  That is pretty funny.

Ginger is going to be ready to go to her new home around the 20th of June, so get ready mom and dad!

Tandoori – Ginger – Turns 4 weeks tomorrow!  Can you believe it?  I can’t, these guys are great puppies and now they are working on potty training.  We built them a little puppy ramp so they can get out the door and onto the deck.  It is so fun!!!

If the puppies can eat outside, they have their meals in the great outdoors and then like clock work, everyone potties!  Yep it’s true; we stay outside until every one finish their business, than we bring them in so we can hose down the area.  Once that is done if they are still playing we will bring them back out to play for a while.  This is morning two, of a clean pen when we got up in the morning!  I just love that!  Lots of little pee spots but that is so easy to clean up while they are eating, no piles to clean is awesome!  These guys are the best pups around.

Okay enough of the bragging – we have so much to cover with these little guys.  Ginger went to the vet and weighed in at 3.94 Pounds.  Dr. L. thought she was doing great!  She got another dose of de-wormer and won’t be seen now until she is 7 weeks to get micro chipped and given her first set of shots.

Ginger would like to give a great big thank you to her sponsor Gail and Ben Harris.  Thank you so much for caring about RAGOM and their dogs.  We could not do this without you and your support!

Tandoori has found her forever home and will be joining Greg and Louis in a few short weeks – well 4 weeks to be exact.  Tandoori is doing well and eating lots of mush and seems to enjoy it.  Tandoori loves to snuggle and she thinks it is great when her new mom and dad come to spoil her with all the love they give her.  She has the best of both world right now because mom and dad live close enough to come and visit often..

Tanny’s new name will be Ginger; we call her Ginger 1 because we have two Gingers now!  Ginger will continue on the good food and continue to grow.  Ginger and all the pups will be heading to the vet on Friday to get check out again and make sure we do not have any more nasty worms.

Ginger would like to thank everyone for thinking about her and wanting to adopt her, but she thinks she found the best family around!  Thank you!!!

Tanny is doing great and met her forever family today.  She was not even looking when this family came to visit, so it was a complete surprise when they wanted her!

Tanny would love to have visitors to hold her even though she is no longer available.

Tanny is doing great and is growing by leaps and bounds.  We went to the vet yesterday and she now weighs 1.43 pounds which right in the middle of the puppy weight.  She received her first dose of de-wormer and the vet said her heart and lungs sound great and there are no signs of a heart murmur.  Yea for Tanny!

Tanny is doing wonderful with bottle feeding and she also loves to try and get milk from mom.  When it happens we are very happy, but when the puppies are crying and trying to get milk we know we have to help.  Tanny would not touch the formula at first but has now come around and doing well with it.

Tanny will go back to the vet in a few weeks to get another dose of de-wormer and than she won’t go back until she is 7 weeks for shots and micro chipping.

Tandoori (girl pup) or Tanny for short was the first born of 11 pups.  She made her way into this world during her car ride from a breeder in MO to her foster home in Apple Valley, MN.  Tanny was born on 4/28 at 4:45 in the afternoon.  She will always have a white collar on when we take pictures.

Tanny was the largest of all the pups at 1.1 pounds but she fell under a pound at day 2.  However 1 week later she is gaining nicely and now she is the third largest at 1.4 pounds.  Tanny does not mind the formula so she should continue gaining weight even though mom can not feed her as much as she would like.

Thanks for checking on Tanny – she will be ready at the end of June for adoption.

Shanna pups are doing great – I just have one picture of where they all go when we have to bring Shanna out – as you can see this won’t last much longer – they are already our growing one basket!  Everyone weighs over 1 pound now which is great news.  Now we just have to keep things going in the right direction.
