Hi everybody, it's us - Dixie and Sandy!  We arrived at our foster home last night.  The first thing they did was give us a wonderful bath!!  It felt so good having that massage and getting all cleaned up.  Our new sisters trimmed our nails and cleaned our ears today.  Then we had our coats brushed.  They were saying something about a spa day.  Bummer, they didn't paint our nails :(  Foster Mom said she'll try to get our picture sent in tomorrow so you can see how great we look.  Oh, by the way, we sure look great for being Senior girls!  Some girls just don't show their age!  We've been busy going for walks several times today. They keep saying we are doing great on that house training thing.  NO accidents!!  Foster mom says we're to keep our paws crossed till we get outside.  Just want to say thanks to all the people that helped us on our way to a much more comfortable life.

Dixie is on the left. Sandy is on the right.

Hey it's me Sandy. Sorry I haven't reported in lately, I just don't know where the time goes. I've been so busy!! I have been out in the boat alot and swimming with my new friends. My foster mom has been teaching me how to swim in the lake as I had never done that before. I'm getting much better at it. I really love chasing Rex when they throw the frisbee for him. I haven't quite figured out what he's doing but its fun chasing him in the water!

I have got the sit and shake thing down really good now. My mom is stillworking on the come part with me. I'm such a tease though. I get a toy and she will tell me to come and I just like to tease with it. I still need to be spayed. Maybe in 4-5 weeks. Hope my stool specimens come back negative. Then I should be able to. Mom said she'll send in a few more pics of Dixie and I on the tube she got us for the lake.

I have really come along way. I'm a very happy girl that is a lovable, cutie pie that no one could resist. I can talk up a storm, oh speaking of storms, I'm not really happy with them. Matter of fact they rate up there with firecrackers. My mom had some nice Valerian Root that helped make the 4th more bearable!
Hugs and Lots of Kisses,
Sandy

Sandy here! Just an update on what's going on with me. As you can tell I'm dark red and my foster mom says I'm really cute and sweet. I weight 64lbs. I'm not UTD on my shots yet as I have horrible skin allergies and infection. Also from having so many babies I have a vaginal prolapse. My doctor put me on some meds to help with the inflammation in my bottom and to help with those pesky skin allergies. She said I couldn't get spayed for about 2 months yet. I guess I'm okay with that cuz I heard once that it kind of hurts!

I really like the good food my foster mom is feeding me. I'm a good eater. I tried once to steal my foster moms cake off the table. She told me that I couldn't have it and I let her know by barking softly and howling that I really wanted it. I still didn't get it. Can't blame a girl for trying. I get to go for lots of walks and my family says I do great. I'm one of
those girls who just likes to go for one of those slow leisurely walks hand in hand with the ones I love! My tail doesn't stop wagging when I am out there walking with my new family.

I have had a couple of accidents in the house, I heard my foster mom tell the other kids here she thinks it may be due to my meds as it makes me go potty more. Oops. I'm working on that one. So if you'd like a sweet little girl who talks back once in awhile (just letting them know I care and have an opinion) and one who loves to be petted you better put in an application for me. Remember though that if you want me my sweet sister Dixie has to come too!
