3/25/07: Hi everyone! I’m sure you probably heard about our trip on our slow truck from North Dakota to Animal Ark in Hastings, MN. It was pretty chaotic with all those people. They were helping us to see the doctor and get ready to meet our foster moms. I have a foster sister named Gypsy 07-161. She is a week younger than me, but we have fun. I’m really curious and like to explore. When my foster moms brought us home I came out of our kennel so I could check things out and relieve myself. Wow...it had been a long day! Then they got out the food. I only had to share it with Gypsy, pretty cool. We went outside, then back in and hit the rack. I had a hard time sleeping, it was so quiet. We started our day early - what a life: out to play, in to eat, out to play! They have grass, leaves and sticks to chew on in the yard. At least that is why I think they are there! Anyway, I like to annoy my foster brother Wyatt. He doesn’t know what to think about me, but it’s okay. I like him anyway. They made me take a bath today. I have never had a bath. I didn’t really care for it, but it felt kinda good, and I smell better! Anyway, I have to get ready for bed. I think foster mom said she’s getting up really early tomorrow.

Wow! Did ya hear! I have a sponsor! Their names are Mary and Paul Trautman! Thanks guys! Gypsy’s jealous cuz she doesn’t have a sponsor yet. I have had a really, really busy week for such a young gal! I went to the Doc twice! You know those puppyhood kind of things... I have to go back in a couple of weeks to get weighed and so I can get my last doses. I am a GROWING girl, you know! Other than that, the Docs say I'm healthy! I am definitely happy :) I get to run and play with the big dogs, Wyatt and Sassy. The big dogs don’t know what to think about me. I also found out that Gypsy is my real sister, too. I like to steal her sticks and run like the wind (like the big dogs). She chases me, but usually can’t catch me. So far, I have explored nearly all of the yard. I tried to give my foster mom a heart attack when I figured out a way to escape (tee hee), but I was foiled! She has now re-enforced the perimeter. That’s okay, I have now figured out how to dig, something new and exciting. I have also discovered lots of things that make fun toys; grass, dirt, sticks, leaves, mom’s roses bushes, tennis balls, Wyatt & Sassy’s hedgehogs and other stuffed toys. Oh yeah, don’t forget the raw hides! Well, it's nap time - it's a lot of work running around in the mud and rain!
