Nash 07-113

Profile

3/21/07: Nash, an 18 month old purebred Golden, came to us today from the local Humane Society.  He was found roaming in the country as a stray.  After a good bath and brushing he is looking beautiful!  He has the cutest curly hair by his tail and has quickly settled in with my resident dog.  He loves being petted, having his belly rubbed, riding in the car, and he thinks he is a lap dog!!  Nash is in good shape but could stand to gain some weight! He is a true gem.  He gets a long fine with cats and anyone he comes in contact with.  He is not much of a jumper and responds very well to come, sit, and stay (working on stay!).  We went for a walk tonight and he did great.  He doesn't pull much and likes a nice leisurely walk - does not seem to be much of a runner right now, but that may change as he gets more comfortable with us.  If you're looking for a dog who will be spunky outdoors and a calm love bug inside, Nash is the dog for you!!

Hello everyone, I am Nash - my foster mom lovingly (I think) calls me her little riblet, and boney mahoney because I am a little thin!  She seems to think it is funny, and I am getting used to it!  I have settled into my new foster home quite well and am getting along well with the resident cat, Golden, and Chow mix.  I have not had any accidents and stay in my crate at night when everyone is sleeping or is not home.  I get to go on walks with my Golden foster brother and do really well on a leash!  I love all the attention I am getting and am looking for a family who wants to give me a lot of attention too.  If you don't I may groan and push my way into you, whatever you may be doing.  My foster mom tells me I am such a good boy and will find a wonderful forever home - is that home with you?  - Nash
