Buddy 02-181

Profile

Well let's see, we acquired Buddy from a gal at my son's school who took him back from a family who adopted him and found that they travel too much to have a dog. So we thought well we should take him in and find him a forever home! Buddy is now a year old and full of energy! He loves our goldens and just wants to play, play, play! He found that cats don't like to play as well as dogs do! He now knows his boundaries with them! Occasionally he gets a bit excited and has to be reminded to back off and he does. He is all legs! Very tall golden with a slender build. This boy is so full love he soaks up every bit he can get! His prior owners did a very good job with him. He is fully housetrained. crate trained, gentle lead trained and knows all of his basic commands. He has been neutered, updated on all shots and heartworm tested. He is a joy to have around and anxiously awaits his forever home.

With great sadness, we helped our sweet Buddy cross the Rainbow Bridge on Monday May 9, 2011. Sinus cancer had taken its toll and he was no longer enjoying the Golden life.

We adopted Buddy on July 2, 2002. After a rocky start (mostly due to my own incompetence!) he worked his way into our hearts and became a most cherished member of our family. Our hearts are broken, but we will always be grateful to RAGOM and Buddy’s original owners for bringing this big, wonderful boy into our lives. Although RAGOM says they have no “perfect” dogs, Buddy truly was perfect to us. Thank you RAGOM for nine wonderful years and for all the work you do connecting Goldens and their forever families.
