Buddy 03-145

Profile

Buddy Boy is a 4 year old, neutered, medically up to date, non papered purebred male. He has previously lived with children, other dogs, and several cats...although his exposure to them was minimal as he was kept as an outdoor dog...while the others lived indoors. He weighs in at just under 98 all lean pounds, not an ounce of fat on this boy which means he's substantially built. He has pretty feet, is of medium height; a dark golden color with many light blond feathers and curls. (Although he had a good haircut when he came in, I gave him a summer trim and brushing to help him adjust to the warming temperatures.) Buddy loves to be where you are, perhaps needs to be there to be comfortable at this transitional point in his life.

At this time Buddy Boy will be looking for a home in a multiple party household that has a fence, perhaps another dog and a schedule at home that will minimize his time without human company (We don't want to push him towards any separation anxiety!)

Best. Buddy. Ever.

Buddy came to live with us in 2003 as a 4 year old, 89 pounds and smiling ear to floppy ear.

Through the years, grandchildren rode him and cuddled with him (as did our cat, which we would tastefully avoid commenting on). There was no counter-surfing, although he did eat a Christmas pound of Frango chocolates while we weren't home - and lived! There was no Kong that he couldn't chew through, and was always on duty to guard the house. Badminton was a favorite sport, next to shedding.

He was so sweet, and he got tired, and he's gone now.

We hope to find another lovely friend like Buddy.

Thank you, RAGOM, for bringing him to us.
