Sparkles 03-221

Profile

Mattie and Sparkles have been with me for a little over a week and have been an absolute pleasure to have around the house.

I think Mattie is 1/3rd Husky, 1/3rd Golden, and 1/3 Sugar. She is four years old and is a svelte little princess. She has an exotic look to her that is very appealing. Of the two, she is the lover always wanting to give kisses and hugs and trying to snuggle at every chance she gets.

Sparkles is five years old and looks like she is a small lab with a full size lab heart, or, maybe she is just big boned! We'll see what the vet thinks and if needed, get her on an exercise program to whittle away at her waist line. For now, we'll assume she's just big hearted. If there was ever any question, this should also confirm that I haven't taken canine anatomy classes!

Sparkles is the protector, and tends to lay near me, but not right next to me. She does have a cute habit of waking me up to go out by flopping her chin on my bed and looking me right in the eye when it wakes me up. Then when I ask if she needs to go out, she nearly shakes herself out the door wagging her tail. These two have lived together for the majority of their lives and were both rescued from a local shelter. They lived with a family with children and a cat and I can vouch that they are extremely considerate of my cat. They are house trained, crate trained, and calm around the house, although they also like to let loose when they are outside.

Mattie and Sparkles came to RAGOM through no fault of theirs. A change in family situation put their family in the position where they were no longer able to care for them. These two girls were loved enough that their family wanted to give them the chance to remain together by letting us find them a new home. We have their vet records and both are micro-chipped. We will be going to the vet this weekend to get a check up, but both have been well loved and cared for so I anticipate they will get clean bills of health.

They are looking for a home that has enough room for all of their love. With these two, it will be like buying a house with the basement finished. No messing around with doing any work on them, they come all ready to love and become part of your family. I will send an update after our vet visit, but don't let that stop you from inquiring about them!
