Dusty 03-380

Profile

In remembrance - miss you "my sweet Dusty Joe"

We welcomed Dusty #03-380 in to our home 4 days ago and we've come to the conclusion that he is just a gem of a guy. Met the resident canine pack without incident and completely ignores the cats. He's definitely a people dog - not real interested in playing with the rest of the pups. Wants a lot of one on one with his humans. He's been sleeping in my daughter's room - she's set up a comforter/pillow bed for him and he seems real comfortable there - never a peep out of him. He likes to carry his stuffed "babies" around with him. No accidents in the house. Very much a gentleman - good manners - loves to eat - gets pretty excited about treats and doesn't quite understand "wait your turn," but is learning. Just a love bug. My 11 year old daughter is smitten with him and is trying to convince me that he should become a permanent member of our pack. She brushed him last night and he sat quiet and just let her do her thing. We get to know him a little better each day so will report again soon.
