Rambo (Ramo 04-160)

Profile

Ramo is a 6 year old mix of Golden and probably chow. He weighs 53 pounds. He is house trained and knows how to come, sit and lay down. He does not bark or whine. He is the perfect little friend. Ramo was rescued from a shelter where he spent 5 months. His owner went in to a nursing home and could no longer care for him.

He does not have any health issues or any personality quirks. He does not mind cats and has gotten along with every other dog he has met. He is very social. He will not jump up on people. He does not know how to heel but I’m working on it. He was neutered on 6-9-04 and will go back to the vet on the 19th for a check up. Ramo does not mind if you take food away from him and he will drop his chew toys when told to do so. He shows ZERO signs of any aggressive behavior in all situations. He loves to run and is very active. He kind of gallops when he walks, like a show dog might walk. He is a very, very happy dog! His best trick is he waves to you with both paws when you come home (see picture). He waves with both paws! It’s really cute. Ramo is the coolest dog I’ve had the privilege of caring for. He will make a great friend for you!

To my Loving Family

You have treated me kindly, my beloved family. No dog heart in the entire world was more grateful for your kindness than mine.

Your voices were sweet music to my ears. You could always tell by the fierce wagging of my tail when any of you walked by.

You kept me inside, keeping me comfortable and spoiled. I had no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet or laying on your bed, by your bedside, or in my favorite spot.

My dish was always filled with fresh water. You fed me well so I could romp and play in my better years. It gave me great pleasure to walk by your side to the dog park (and occasionally by myself), and had any of you ever been in danger, I would have protected you with my life.

And my family, when I got sick that morning, and I no longer enjoyed good health, I am grateful that you didn’t make heroic efforts to keep me going. I was not having any fun. It is okay that my life was taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing that with the last breath I drew, I served you well and was always loved. So very loved.

Your loving and devoted dog,
Rambo

From Rambo's (formerly known as Ramo) forever family...

I just wanted to forward a few pictures of Rambo. He is doing GREAT! He loves to play fetch with Brittany and loves to do tricks. He is the most amazing dog - we are so incredibly happy we have him. He makes our family whole! These pics say it all!
