Chevy arrived at his foster home tonight and has a few things that need to be taken care of before he is ready to go to his forever home.

He has a broken canine and separate abscess. Dental surgery is scheduled for Thursday. Chevy cannot eat hard food at this point - may be why he wasn't interested in treats. We are feeding him canned for now. He has an ear infection in both ears, and is being treated with ear ointment twice a day. Chevy has had hay fever allergies in summer that was treated with Benadryl, but he isn't showing symptoms. Chevy is also Heartworm positive and will begin treatment after his dental surgery.

Chevy weighed in at a strapping 95 pounds. He is a wonderful, gentle caring dog. He gets along great with all members of our family; dogs and cat. Chevy will be a valuable addition to any home.
