Archie 07-071

Profile

2/25/07: Archie has made it to wintry Apple Valley, MN. Archie is a 3 week old little boy – he will be 4 weeks on the 1st of March. He has a birth date of February 1st, 2007. He will be ready to go home on March 30th, 2007.

Archie is just so sweet and loves to be held. Because his mom is such a great mom he is putting on pounds every day. We have no idea how big he will be, but he is just the most beautiful color.

Archie is named after a city in Missouri that we drove through to pick him and his 2 brothers and one sister up. We figured it would be fitting to name everyone after a city that we passed when we rescued them. It was a 9 hour trip and everyone made it beautifully. We are so proud of the new kids on the block.

If you are interested in Archie, please let Placement know (placementatragom [dot] org) and we can set up a visit for you to meet him.

Archie is such a character! Archie loves to come out of the play pen and play with the big Newfoundlands. His favorite is Coal because she has this really hairy mane that he can bite and hang on while she walks around. It is really funny to watch. Archie will also play with a ball if you put it in front of him.

Archie went to see the vet today and he weighed in at 3.44 lbs. He is a nice and healthy little boy and we can go ahead and keep feeding him mush. We also gave him his first dose of de-worming meds. This is something normal for a pup since the worms can be passed from Mother to pup.

Archie is looking for a special home that he can thrive in. Archie needs to go to a couple of classes so he can be the best possible puppy around. He needs to attend Puppy Kindergarten to help him socialize him. Archie is still scared of being picked up and handled but since we continue to do this on an hourly basis I am sure he will be used to it before long.

So if you are the perfect family for Archie, please send placementatRAGOM [dot] org an e-mail and let’s see if this is a match made in heaven.
