Here's Miss Ginger with her wonderful new family... She says "I'm about to become a Minnesota dog!" Her foster family is sure going to miss her but is so happy she now has a forever home!!!

1/27/07: Meet Miss Ginger!! She just arrived in Cedar Rapids, IA and is settling in nicely. She is 12 months old and was surrendered to a shelter due to the death of her female owner. She is getting along well with our resident dogs, Maren and Yosi and our 4 Ragdoll cats. She is a Golden/Lab mix and fairly small in size - maybe 50 lbs. She is light in color with a fairly short coat and a plumey, Golden tail. She has beautiful, unique eyes. We were told she was shy with men, but doesn't seem to be with our adult sons and our dad. She seems to be very calm and polite. More updates and pictures as we get to know her.

Hi everyone - It's me Ginger. I got home yesterday in a freezing blizzard after being spayed. Man, was I glad to get back to my comfy bed and house!! I am doing great, and I get my stitches out in two weeks. Here is a new picture taken of me relaxing on the kitchen floor. How do you like my new Valentine scarf?
