Well, Brutus (Chip) still has not found his voice â I honestly donât think he has one. We have tried everything to get something out of him; you will hear a little raspy voice but nothing you can really hear. Interesting, to say the least.
Brutus lets himself out to the deck and then to the hay if the door is open - he will paw at it if it is closed, but wonât make a noise. I think bell training to go outside will be a must. All in all he is such a nice boy. He is big â but very gentle and docile. He woke up at 3 AM last night and really wanted to play, but we said no and he settled back down after pottying and a quick drink.
Brutusâ favorite place to sleep is under our bed or in our bathroom. He also likes Misteeâs big wire crate, as you can see from the picture below where Brutus and his Sister Shelby (06-420) were bringing my daughter's book bag into the crate to chew on and get Mistee into trouble :)
I am trying to get Brutusâ real foster mom to allow me to bring him to the picnic on Saturday to keep Shelby company, since she has to stay in a play pen and away from other dogs (for her well-being, as puppies are not yet fully vax'd at this age). Brutus is the outgoing one, so that would help Shelby a lot!
So, are you ready to meet Brutus?? Please email placement
ragom [dot] org so we can set up a meeting.
