We took Annie to the vet Monday and she got a complete work over including vaccinations, fecal, heartworm test and blood work. She does have some yeast in her outer ear so we are treating her for that. Her fecal and heartworm test came out negative which is great. There are a couple of the blood results that we have to retest in a month to see what they are at that time. Without a history on Annie we don't know what is normal for her.
Annie has been the best since she has been with us. She is very well behaved in the house. We have noticed that she may not hear perfectly, but if I call her a little louder she does respond fine. For a senior Golden she has some pep to her. She loves to run around with Rusty 04-420 in the back yard and play. I know she would be so happy to take some walks around the neighborhood and check things out. We will have to wait until it warms up a bit to do that.
If anyone is looking for a nice older Golden, Annie fits the bill. She doesn't seem to be bothered by much at all. She is fine with cats too. Please let Ragom know if you would love to open your heart and home to a great older girl.
