Hello to everyone at RAGOM!

I just wanted to send you an update on our puppy. We adopted Dip on New Year's Day and he is doing great! We did change his name to Marley though :) He is such a fun puppy and has already passed "puppy socialization I" at the Twin Cities Obedience Club. Marley has a great temperment - he is a very sweet, smart and attentive dog and has been really fun to train. (He also does a good job keeping us entertained with his puppy antics.)

Our family just wanted to say thank you to everyone at RAGOM. It sounds like Marley's mom (Veda) and littermates would have been put down if it wouldn't have been for your organization, and we would have never been able to meet such a great little puppy. We are also thankful for his foster moms and dads - everyone who worked with Marley/Dipee did an excellent job socializing him at an early age. We are very happy with Marley and couldn't ask for a better puppy. I'll attach a picture - a belated valentine for everyone at RAGOM.

Thanks again.

Best regards.

Rebecca and Kevin

Dipee here – foster mom said I had to write because she loves me too much and it will make her sad when I find my forever home. She knows I need to so, I said I will look for her.

So, I am looking for a home that will love me like my foster mom and dad, fur sisters and the human boy. I am looking for someone who will continue to hug and cuddle with me. I love playing with everyone and I think it is really cool to be held and trust me, I let you know I want to be held. I will sit at your feet and look up at you with these BIG brown eyes of mine and whine like a big baby.

I am doing okay on potty training as long as you let me out when I am done playing and when I am done sleeping. If you don’t let me out, I will find a blanket or anything else on the floor (shoes are not out of the question) and pee. I was paper trained when I was just a wee lad, so that is still in my brain.

I am starting to get crate trained and I HATE that but I know it is a fact of life, but I would rather sleep with someone.

Okay, I will put mom on now.

Dipee is doing great and he is such a joy to have around. He loves to play and loves to sleep and eats really well. He is now almost 2 months, still pretty small and cuddly. If you are interested in meeting Dipee, email Placementatragom [dot] org and we can set something up. You will not be sorry, but remember he is a pup and will need constant attention and training.

Welcome to Apple Valley Mr. Dip pity Do Dah – okay his real name is “Dip” but I call him Dippee. Dip is a very nice boy and is doing well. He made his first journey towards adoption without incident this afternoon and met the three resident Newfoundland’s without any problems. Mistee is playing a little rough, but Dip just gives it right back. Oh yes and Dip is thinking that Mistee should provide some milk to drink.

Dip has HUGE front stumpy paws, his legs are very squatty and it is a riot to watch him play in the deep snow. Okay we usually lose him because he gets buried in it. So far we have gone outside to potty after each play session and nap. That seems to be going well. Let’s see how things go when we are not so diligent. Anyone would be lucky to get this gentleman. He is incredibly loving and wants to just cuddle with you. I am positive he has Burmese Mountain Dog in him from his legs and coloring.

A huge thank you to his original foster mom for doing such a wonderful job raising this young fur butt. As we get to know our Mr. Dip pity Do Dah, we will send updates, which I am sure will be often for the first few weeks. Just email placementatragom [dot] org and they will get in touch with me if you would like to meet the Dip.

Dip is growing, as all the puppies are. They'll be four weeks old this Monday!! They are now learning to run (or their version of running). Most of them resemble overstuffed sausages which waddle around on short extremities. They love people. We sit with them and they all crawl into our laps, kiss faces, necks, ears, what ever they can reach. They also appear to like to be sung to. They're eating out of a bowl now, baby food with puppy milk replacer. They're also eating Momma's food, or trying to. We are working on paper training and that appears to be going extremely well for the number of puppies we have.

Dip LOVES to be held. He will immediately turn over on his back when I pick him up to get his tummy scratched and looks at my face the whole time I hold him, if he doesn't fall asleep. He'll sleep for hours in my son's arms and is very, very content to be held.
