Hi- I wanted to let you know that I had to let Molly go on 9/16/11. She went to sleep in my arms at our vet's office. Molly found me through RAGOM in April 2005. Molly had been abandoned and she refused to tell me just how old she was, but the vet estimated she was about 9 years old at the time I adopted her. I have to admit I had my doubts about adopting a "senior" after losing my first Golden less than a year earlier, one month short of her 10th birthday. But Molly's foster mom, Jennifer, convinced me she was the right gal for me. She was SO very right. Molly taught me many things, including how wonderful a "senior" golden can be. I feel I was truly blessed when she came into my life 6-1/2 years ago. I couldn't have found a sweeter, happier, more loving dog if I had searched for years. She was my best buddy, and since I retired we were rarely apart. We helped each other through some tough medical issues over the years. But most of all she was just there, with her smile, day in and day out, making life brighter for me and for everyone she touched. My deepest thanks to Jennifer, Michele, and RAGOM for getting us together. I think we were a good team and I feel so fortunate to have shared 6-1/2 years with her. Thank you so much. Pat B. Below are 3 photos of Molly. One is her "official" RAGOM photo. I don't know who took it, but I could never improve on it. She had that same smile for 6-1/2 years. The other two are more recent.
