5/6/06: Max is an eight month old male puppy, on the medium or medium/small side for a Golden. He has a wonderful personality and disposition. Max will visit the vet on Tuesday for a pre-neuter visit and general exam, however, he appears healthy and very well taken care of and loved by his prior home. Max is good with children, cats, and other dogs. He met his foster kitty and showed no interest in her. Max is very friendly and gets along great with his foster sisters. Max still has his puppy playfulness and enjoys playing with his foster sisters. Max is that perfect age - still playful but house trained and basic manners. Max comes when called and just wants to be with his people, but will need to learn some of the basics, like sit, stay, etc. He appears very intelligent and anxious to please, so he should be easy to train. Max is crate trained and does well in his crate overnight and when his people are away. More to come as we get to know Max.
