12/2/05: We are happy to welcome Duffy into our home as our latest foster. He came to us without a name, but he reminded us so much of our dog Duffy, who we lost to cancer 3 years ago, we decided Duffy was a good name for him. Duffy was found tied to a porch in a nearby town. It is obvious he has been someone's much loved companion at one point in his life. Duffy is housebroken, loves to ride in the car, he knows sit, down and can shake hands. He has been to the vet and was estimated to be around 9 years old. He is heartworm negative, neutered and now up to date on his shots. Duffy's weight was 89.2 lbs. He is a very tall, heavy boned dog and is not overweight. He was then whisked to a grooming parlor where he got an A+ for his behavior. We are baffled why someone would abandon a GReat dog like Duffy.
