Ginger 06-182

Profile

4/22/06: Hi everyone, I'm Ginger. I'm a 2 year old spayed female. I visted the vet and I am UTD with all of my shots. I'm heartworm negative and have

been microchipped. I do have an ear infection that is being treated and have round worms that are being treated too. A description of me is: First, I'm really cute, I'm a beautiful reddish color, I'm a little short, and my foster mom says I'm "full figured". I'm about 10 pounds overweight but I think that is due to my lack of activity lately. I think as soon as I'm out playing and exercising, the weight will fly off of me! I'm very agile and love to run and play. I get along with all other dogs, cats, kids and I just love people. I'm housebroken and not afraid of stairs or household noises. I'm pretty much a perfect dog (except for those darn extra pounds). I'm very cute and lovable. I'll need to have some training so I can be the best dog ever!

I've been at my new foster home for several hours now. I met my foster dog brother Cody and we have played since I got here. We have shared his toys and spent most of this nice day in the backyard playing. Cody showed me his waterfall pond, which we immediately got into so we could cool off. Foster mom and dad weren't overjoyed by this since both of us were to the groomer this past week. They did think we were both kind of cute laying in the water. I have adjusted well in the few hours that I have been here.

I'm ready to start interviewing for my forever home. I would love a family with or without kids, with or without other pets. If you are approved and would like to have me as part of your family, email Placementatragom [dot] org.

Updates

Hi, it's Ginger again. I thought I would give you an update since I've been at my foster home for a couple of days.

Have you noticed how adorable I am? My foster parents have learned that I know sit, down, come when called and totally understand "NO". I love tennis balls and carry one around with me a lot and I give it up easily when asked. I like being brushed and will turn around for you so you don't miss a spot. I let my foster mom wipe my feet off before we go in the house and even roll onto my back so she can really do a good job. She has only heard me bark a couple of times when my foster brother Cody and I have been playing. I eat my food like a lady and actually chew it. On the other hand, Cody literally inhales his food and then wants as much of mine as he can get. I was very willing to share it with him but foster mom said no. I think she thought I wouldn't get any. I'm a very happy dog, smiling all the time. Instead of just wagging my tail, I wiggle all over.

Someone is going to be very lucky to have me. Did I mention how cute I am???
