Josh 05-306

Profile

10/7/05: Josh is a two year old Golden Retriever mix. He is cream and white and boy are his legs long! He is one tall dog and very handsome! He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and a real sweetheart. His owner had to move out of the country and he has been in shelter care for about 8 months. He is pretty thin, so we'll be talking to the vet about how to put on some weight for the cold winter, but otherwise, this boy is lovable and will be ready for his forever home very soon!

Okay, I made it to the vet today. I am healthy with the exception of my dirty teeth. The doc thought I could use a serious cleaning. Otherwise, she wants me to gain 20 pounds and eat lots of healthy treats! What a great diet. I heard my foster mom say she wishes someone would tell her to gain 20! The vet thinks I may have some white shepherd in me, but hey, no one really knows. All I know is that I am lovable, sweet and love to have someone pet me! I made quick friends at the vet office. Some nice guy spent his time in the waiting room petting me. I was grateful. Pics soon.---Josh.

Well, I am really getting the hang of this being in the house....I was left to roam the kitchen, bedroom and hallway yesterday and I was a good boy. I decided not to chew up anything or potty in the house. I wish my mom hadn't taken all of the shoes and put them in the closet, but she did so I had to play with dog toys instead! I did, however, knock over the babygate and went into the living room. However, I only wanted to look out the window. It was a beautiful day! My foster Dad mowed the lawn and I was not afraid of that noise at all. I don't mind the vacuum or the hairdryer or any noise really - although I have not been here during a storm yet so my foster family is not sure about how I will react to that. I sit and put my paw on you when I want attention and I think I will be happiest in a home where I can be close to my people. I heard my foster mom say I was going to the vet today. I hope I enjoy that! I may need my teeth cleaned. They look a bit dirty to me for being so young. I am sleeping like a baby in my crate at night and am ready for my forever family to see me! Please call. I've not been on the Ragom list very long, but I was in a shelter for a really long time and I want a home to call my own! By the way, foster mom is a little behind in the picture taking department, but I will be having my photo done tonight so you all can see how handsome I am!
