Updates

I am very saddened to write this update.  Just last week, we made sweet Bo available for adoption. Only  a few days later, he rapidly spiraled downhill.  We knew he had kidney issues and took steps to help him improve and after two weeks of doing so well, everything went wrong.

it was so very hard to let this beautiful, special boy go. He always had that glorious tail wagging with a happy smile on his face. Bo slept by my bed from day one & it wasn't possible to give him too many pets and kisses. If Bo didn't think he got his fair share, he  would let you know with that golden nudge!

I know in my heart that his human Mom who loved him so much met him at the Bridge and Bo can run free and love his Mom with no more pain.

Even though you weren't with us long, my beautiful Bo, you will always have a piece of my heart.

Many Hugs, Much Love, Many Tears

YAY! Bo is ready for a family of his very own! Teeth are cleaned and shiny, his silky coat is gleaming, the vet put Bo on a low protein diet for a kidney issue and this lovable, huggable sweet guy needs someone to love him for his forever.

Yes, he is 13 years old but he runs up and down the stairs all day with no problem. Walks are not his favorite thing but once he gets going he enjoys a walk around the block. Naps are nice too. Treats are better!

After deciding pack order (with a little snarky on both sides), now everyone happily lays, eats and rides in the car together. Bo loves to be brushed (he has the biggest, fluffiest tail I've ever seen on a golden). Pets and kisses are the best and  he has that golden nudge down pat.

Bo’s incredible tail!

It is very easy to fall in love and if you have a gentler type of home with someone home a good deal,  he could be the perfect fit. Other pets are no issue but he would also enjoy being an only. Please consider giving this great guy a wonderful life for the rest of his days.

Cutest thing Bo does: he is aware of dogs on TV. He will  bark at TV and then look at me as saying "I have protected us all for another day." Favorite TV show: Lucky Dog

Saving us all from that scary dog on TV

Hi everyone. I am kinda new around here and my foster mom said I should let you know a little about me.

First, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Boo Boo—what was somebody thinking!? I am not a boo boo, I am a Bo (as in a bow).

When I was a pup, I came to RAGOM and my wonderful mom, dad and boy brother took me home and I lived my whole 13 years with them. Then a really bad thing happened. The bestest mommy ever went to someplace called heaven and we have been so, so sad.

My dad works really long hours and he didn't like me home alone all the time. We decided I should go back to RAGOM and once again find a new family that can spend more time with me.

I am with my foster mom and two fur brothers, and they are very nice—I like them alot. My foster mama gives me lots of love and yummy food and even short walks. Oh, sorry! My brothers are going outside. Wait for me guys!

Foster Mom here. Bo is precious. This is a difficult transition for him and he is being very brave.

Bo looks like a Golden but is probably a mix, given he has a black tongue and the fluffiest thick curly tail. He is stunning. He is fully vetted and besides his teeth needing cleaning, in great health. He is hard of hearing but I do not find it an issue.

Bo loves children of all ages, has lived with other dogs and cats, but probably a slower paced home with someone home a good part of the day would be best for him. He likes to lay by your feet or follow you through the house and sleeps quietly by the bed all night long. Bo has lived without a fence but his fence requirements are still being determined.

If would like to give a sweet, gentle senior a loving home for his last years, Bo would be a perfect companion.

Bo is currently unavailable while we work on some medical issues, but he would love to meet you.
