Mayday 05-126

Profile

My name is Mayday and I am six years old. I was rescued by some RAGOM volunteers in North Dakota and then another nice RAGOM volunteer drove me to the Twin Cities. I was surrendered because I wasn't very fond of my family's new baby. I grew up with three other kids in the house but when a gal reaches six years old...well, I just didn't think I should have to be exposed to that anymore. I'd give a little warning growl and move to another room - perfectly appropriate behavior in dog circles. Foster Mom says she'll only let me go to a forever home with kids six or over cuz she wants me to be happy! I'm also not overly fond of loud noises (e.g., guns!) and my family wanted a hunting dog. Can't blame a girl for being a pacifist! So now I'm in a foster home in the Twin Cities and I'm living with the two resident dogs and one other foster dog. We all get along GReat. We had a group sniff and then we all went outside and checked our p-mail. None for me! Guess my change-of-address hasn't kicked in at the K9PO .

Gotta do the vet thing next week so more after that.

MaydayApparently it's a ritual around here to do the hokey pokey with the newbie. Must be some sort of hazing thing. That's me with the fluffy tail.MaydayHere's me trying to adjust to my new surroundings
