Boomer comes from Iowa and was a stray. Boomer is a very big boy! He is probably 20 lbs over weight. He has a beautiful face! He is very loving and pretty calm, and absolutely loves his tennis balls!!! We have a stock tank that we winter our goldfish over in, and he finds all the tennis balls and puts them in the water! He watches them float around and then retrieves them. It's a riot!! He plays very well by himself and with his "brother" Beba 05-037 that came in with him. He needs to learn some manners, he is just so big, whatever he wants, like to go through a door first, he just does!!! But he is a typical loving golden, so I'm sure he will learn quickly. The vet thinks he is about three. It was first thought that the two should be adopted together, which would be nice, but I'm sure they will do fine apart. They are buddies, but also like to play and hang with our other dogs!

Boomer is up to date with all his vacations and will be going in for his vet appointment for heartworm check this week. He is now on diet food and a limited amount, he is quite the chow hound!! He had a bath yesterday after he arrived, and he was very good for that! Boy did we get hair out of him!!! He nows looks like a teddy bear! More next week on this very sweet boy.
