Cody (Ween 04-399)

Profile

Ween is extremely cute. He is a red color and a petite male. A great size and a face that just makes you want to kiss it. Ween is up to date on his vaccinations and has been on heartworm preventitive for the season. He is going in to get neutered tomorrow.

He came in with his brother Phil 04-398, but they will not be adopted out together. I think their personalities will blossom after they are separated. Their previous owners were very busy and didn't have time for them, so they have been making up their own rules. They play well together, but are trying to figure out who is boss. Neutering them will help alot. But they both just need a lot of individual attention and training to make them a perfect Golden!!!

Ween will need a fenced in yard, since he is used to running about and doesn't understand boundaries. The previous owner said he is good with the neighbors' kids, but still likes to jump.

More info to come!

Our beloved Cody lost his battle with cancer today. His breathing became more labored and difficult and we knew it was time to do what was best for him. His body failed him but his Golden spirit never waived.

He was a great friend and companion and was a great brother and mentor to Teddy. He helped many, many other rescued RAGOM Goldens find their new forever homes in doing home visits for potential adopters with me.

He will be deeply missed by mom, dad and fur brother Teddy.

Paul and I want to thank RAGOM for allowing this wonderful family member into our lives. He has brought us so much joy. He was only 7 years old - just short of his 8th birthday. Life is just not fair.

Below is one of my favorite pictures of him on a floaty mat in the pool with Paul.

Thanks.

Pat, Paul and Teddy F.
