Amy 05-406

Profile

11/26/05: Amy is settling in nicely. She has been here for 4 days now but acts like she has been here forever. I will make her vet appointment as soon as I can, but for now this is what I think. She is about 40lbs. and seems to be around 8 or 9 mths old. Darker golden color with pearly white teeth and big soft brown eyes. She needs to put on a little weight so we will work on that. Energetic, playful, puppy who loves to please and seems to learn very quickly. We have 3 Goldens of our own and they all love her and Amy plays GReat with them.

What a lover Amy is. She went to the vet and everyone thought she was the sweetest. Found out that she is 54 lbs. and maybe a little older than we first thought. Probably 12 to 14 months old. She is not going to be a big dog but what she lacks in size she makes up for in personality. Full of energy and always carrying something in her mouth (typical Retriever). When she has tired of playing with our Goldens she can be found hanging out in her crate. We close the door only at night or when we are going to be gone, otherwise the door stays open for her. Amy can be a little pushy when she wants attention but we are working on teaching her some manners. The only time I have heard her voice is when we were at the vet and she wanted to play with another dog and I wouldn't let her. Did I mention that she is housetrained!! What a treat that is for us, since we have fostered our share of puppies.
