6/7/06: Hi! It's me Max! I arrived last night at my foster home. I just wanted to type a short note and tell you guys all about me. My foster mom says that I am very handsome and photogenic! I am two years old and have been well cared for. I haven't had any accidents in the house and I promised that I wouldn't. Today I get to go see the doctor. My foster mom says that I have to and get checked out even though I am perfect. My family really loved me but just wasn't able to keep me so I am seeking a new family that will love me forever. At my new house they have another Golden named Maddie. I really like her! We have so much fun! They also have these two things that foster mom calls cats. I am not really sure about what they are exactly but they look pretty interesting. One of them ran away and was hiding but the other one got upset with me and gave some really quick right hooks. I am not sure why I upset him - I just wanted to be his friend. Well... my foster mom says its time to go.... I promise to write later!

Max went to the vet yesterday and had a full check up. The doctor said he was perfect! Max is full of energy and eager to please. He will follow you everywhere you go. Max would do best in a home without small children and no cats. Max has not tried to harm our cats but his curiosity is overwhelming. He is a complete love bug and would love to spend all afternoon giving kisses.

Yesterday on our way to the vet I had my son in his car seat in the back and Max was in the back of the SUV. All of a sudden I heard my son just laughing and laughing. I look in the rear view mirror and here is Max giving my son wet sloppy kisses! He really is a love bug!
