Mariah has been a wonderful house guest and loves to cuddle. She went to the vet yesterday morning and everything went well. She received all her updated shots and had a full check up. Mariah does have a cataract in her right eye and one tooth is broken, neither of which seems to bother her at all and we will just need to monitor these in the future. Mariah will need to be spayed and we will be able to schedule that appointment in a few weeks.
Mariah is very independent and will stand her ground. She will need some obedience training but already knows to sit, shake and lay down and will gladly do any of those items for a treat.
She has requested a few things for her forever home and I told her that I would do my best to find those for her...
Unlimited supply of tennis balls. Mariah loves tennis balls and must have one in her mouth at all times. She will lay down in the living room with a tennis ball in her mouth and just relax.
She would also like to be able to sleep in your bed. She feels that it is more comfortable than the floor and hopes that her forever family wouldn't mind making some room for her. She also promises not to snore.
Last, Mariah would want someone to be home for most of the day with her because she gets uncomfortable being alone for long periods of time.
Mariah would be a wonderful addition for almost any home. She is wonderful around our 16 month old and tolerates him being a toddler just fine. She does fine with our two cats and our two Goldens and loves to play. If you are interested in meeting Mariah please email placement
