Honey and Nugget went over to a friend's house last Friday and met three other Goldens - a good time was had by all! Since Honey couldn't play fetch with the others she was given a tennis ball to carry so she wouldn't feel left out. What a site to see the five of them all together!

Honey continues to improve. In fact, she is doing so much better I am hard pressed to get more pictures of her! She loves attention and will butt right in for more pets if I am not giving her enough. Honey loves to follow you around and if you are out of her sight for more than a few minutes she will go looking for you. Honey is feeling so much better that she and Nugget have started to try to play more in the house. Neither one of them understand why I am always breaking up the fun and games! She loves rawhides and is discovering that pigs ears are really good too.

I have stopped taking Honey out on a leash to do her business because she is so well behaved. She goes out and goes potty and then comes right back in. She even scared a rabbit out of hiding one day and didn't chase it. She and Nugget don't seem to play when they are outside, only when they are inside!

Honey's ideal family would have another dog since she is used to having a 'sibling' to play with. She would love to have children who would give her lots of attention.

Honey has had an eventful first few days in foster care. She wasn't even with me a full day when she had to go back and stay at the vet's for a night. She had a reaction to her heartworm treatment and needed to be on fluids and medicine. Honey came home yesterday feeling much better than when she first came to me. She still has to be kept quiet but she looks as if she feels so much more comfortable.

Honey enjoys other dogs and cats. While at the vet's, she allowed the four resident cats to visit her and even let them lick her bowl when she was done eating. She gets along great with my dog but can't seem to understand why she can't play with her, too. When I take her out, she helps carry her leash - what a cute site! Honey loves people and all the attention they give her. She will come over and just lay her head next to or on you and just enjoy all the pets. When she sees people, her ears perk up and she wags her tail.
