Harvey (Harvest 04-341)

Profile

Harvest is an 8-week-old puppie who was part of a 9- puppy litter that came into RAGOM. The same family gave us 6 puppies in the spring and were so pleased with how we found homes for the others, they gave us 9 more! One of RAGOM's missions is to educate people about how to avoid accidental breedings and we are sharing this information with the family. We are so glad that they called us again so these wonderful pups can find the perfect forever homes and live happily ever after, which is what they deserve

Leaf and Harvest Gold are littermates and brothers. You can tell by the pictures how adorable they are! Last night they had bath time (which they handled like pros) and play time and nap time and more play time. AHHHhhhh the life of a puppy! They both got micro-chipped and all their shots last night with the bunch. Harvest is a robust dog who is a chubby cutie. Nothing bothers him. He didn't cry with his shots, he eats like a monster but he is very shy. He walks in his brother's shadow. Leaf is very outgoing and will try anything. He loves to roam and scavenger around and play. He is tiny and a bit of a baby. He yelped quite alot with his shots and will whimper when he runs into things or his brother. I have to be careful that his brother doesn't steal all Leaf's food! They both are very snuggly and give kisses and are typical golden puppy loves! They are learning the ropes and I am sure they will go to a wonderful home fast!

From Harvey's (formerly known as Harvest) forever family...

Good afternoon RAGOM folks,

Just wanted to send updated photos of my very very best pals!

I adopted Harvey [FKA Harvest] five years ago and he continues to be my Knight in Golden Armor. I don't know what I would do without him. When Harvey's big sister passed away, he went into a deep depression. He hid under the bed for weeks. But can you blame him? He was only a year old. So I jumped into action and started the process of adopting again. Harvey and I were led to Charlie [FKA Kodi] at a Rochester Petco meet and greet. I didn't think I'd take him home, just wanted to see how Harvey would take to another dog ... and boy did they take to each other. Charlie just celebrated his 5th birthday on Saturday. The two have been brothers for four years. [They're both going grey. My last golden wasn't around long enough to go grey in the face so I'm so happy to witness this part of their journey.]

They have been my best friends, my confidants, my workout partners, my nightly comedians, my snuggle buddies, my cooking partners ... and so much more. I can't thank RAGOM enough bringing these two golden spirits into my life!

I was able to take advantage of the giveMN.org donation day on the 17th [I think that was the day] ... yeah!

Take care wonderful RAGOM volunteers.
