3/16/06: A roo roo roo! Please let me introduce myself. My name is Brooke aka Brookie, Book, Booker, and the Brookster (obvioulsy, foster mom has too much time on her hands) and I am a real beauty. For 12 years old, I'm a spunky old gal. I've got the Cindy Crawford beauty mark going for me and I'm in great physical shape! I arrived, safe and sound, at my foster home last night. I was greeted by the pack and, I have to admit, it was a little overwhelming. You'd think I was a long lost relative for pete's sake - everyone was doing the canine greeting, giving me kisses, and talking up a storm. Once exhausted, we all went to bed and slept like babies.
Tonight, after work, foster mom brushed me, and brushed me, and brushed me, and trimmed my feet. She said something about filling up a grocery bag with hair. I guess I had quite the undercoat. I feel a whole lot lighter now.
Tomorrow I'm heading to the vet for a once-over and then I'll be good to go!
Foster mom said that if you think I'm cute in print, wait til you see me in person!
I'll let you know how I come out at the Dr.

Hi,
I walked Brooke over the Rainbow Bridge this morning at 9:00am. I think the drugs just gave her/me a few days but late last night she started going down hill and this morning she did not take her meds or have the strength to stand/sit.
I did get some photographs take of her right after we found the mass. You couldn't tell she was sick. She was the greatest puppy!

Just a few new photos of Ms. Brookie. In some of the photos she is wearing a t-shirt, this is because she occassionally licks at her stitches and a t-shirt sure is more comfortable than an e-collar!
