Zach is a beautiful 3 year old dark Golden who comes to us as an owner turn in. Zach has had seizures for the last year and a half and is on Phenobarb twice a day. We have had him as a foster for two weeks and have yet to see any evidence of a seizure. Zach has been to the vet and is UTD on all of his shots and is HW negative. I asked my vet about the seizure frequency and she said that if the medicine dosage is correct that he should only have a seizure about once a month. Phenobarb is an inexpensive drug according to my vet, so cost of medicine should not be an issue with adopting Zach. He is playful and very much a snuggle puppy. He still does some mouthing and will bark if he wants attention, but we are working with him on these behaviors. As you can see from his pictures, he loves his ball! Zach has that wonderful Golden personality and gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. He probably would be better suited to a home with older children as he is a very active dog.
