11/20/06: Rowdee was the sixth of the Boo Bears to be born ? Rowdee?s parents were from a puppy mill and so he is a pure breed Golden Retriever. Rowdee came into this world at 12:20 am on October 25th, 2006 and will be ready for adoption on December 18th, 2006. Rowdee will be 4 weeks on 11/23/06.

Rowdee came into this world weighing in at 1 pound even, at 2 weeks of age he weighed 2.63 pounds and I believe she will weigh close to 4 pounds when we go to the vet later this week. Rowdee has had his de-worming and will do another dose this week and in two weeks in will get his first set of puppy shots!

Rowdee was given this name by accident, because he is NOT Rowdee at all, in fact he is like the most mellow boy around, so this name really does not suit him, but oh well. Rowdee just want to play with things that have fringe, he thinks the blankets are nice to tug and pull around. He also loves to get under your feet so we have to be careful where we step. Hello, Mistee Bubbles at your service. I see that Mr. Rowdee has not found his home yet so I thought I would help out and tell you a few behind the scene things about Mr. Rowdee. First the name – Rowdee – WRONG – what a bowl of Jello. Well, actually not that bad because he loves to play with me, and of course I let him win most of the time. But because I am a girl, I think I should win, too.

Rowdee is a beautiful blonde color right now and has the nicest temperament. He likes to be cuddled when it is the right time and he eats excellent - maybe a little too much in my eyes! He wants a family to call his own just like all his brothers and sisters. So make sure you give this little boy a shot in life because he is so sweet – take note, he is even winking at you! Rowdee continues to be the mellowest little boy around. He just loves to hang out and sleep in your lap or just get love from who ever is around. Rowdee just does NOT fit this name and it is a riot that we even call him Rowdee but we just can not think of that perfect name so that will be up to his new owners to decide.

Rowdee is looking forward to a family of his own and can not wait to meet them. He would like someone that will bring him to training and spend quality time with him. He would like someone that will cuddle with him and go walks with him. Because you know a tired puppy is a happy puppy and trust me it will not take much to make this guy really happy! Rowdee is growing by leaps and bounds. Yesterday he went to the vet and we found out he has a major case of roundworms – I hate roundworms - they are these nasty long worms that are really gross and hard on the pups’ insides. So the good news is everyone, including Mom and Newfoundlands, are being treated and everyone should be on the path of better weight gain.

Rowdee weighed in at 4.88 pounds – he is the 2nd largest pup now - nobody compares to Zach (Chevee). I think he looks to be the bigger but he just could not top the 5 pound mark. Rowdee still does not live up to his name, but he is starting to play along with everyone else. He can also bite the other pups now and make them cry. Oh my, I hate these puppy teeth at times!
