Hi Michelle!
Just wanted to let you know how well Daisy is doing in her new home! She is resting most of the time, but I've picked up some Nylabones, Kongs, and a Booda plush toy for her which she picks up and prances around with any time she gets excited. I have introduced her to all the neighbors, and her grandma and auntie (my mom and sister) stopped by today to meet her and fell in love with her. They are so happy that she is now part of our family! We've been working on pottying in a specific area of the yard and she's only made a mistake once! I know she wants to run around the yard and play, but I keep telling her that she has to wait awhile before she can be that active. She was coughing a little bit on Wednesday, but that's about it, so I'm feeling pretty good about her reaction to the HW treatments.
She is just such a sweet girl! She is so timid, and even afraid of some things, so it breaks my heart to think of what she might have been through before she came to live with you. I am so grateful that you and your family took such loving care of her before I was able to adopt her. I could not be happier with her and I think she's pretty happy, too!
I'll try to send some pictures this week so you can see her in her new environment. She loves the puppy-dog fleece blanket I have given her for her special area in the living room.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
Best regards,
Joy
